Guest enquiries land all day. Handover notes for the next cleaner or the next owner still need writing. You want the first draft done faster, without losing the detail that keeps a booking on track.
Choose the AI training that builds a workflow around one repeated accommodation task, a guest enquiry reply or a property handover note, using your own notes, templates and rules. You take that training either as our four-hour public Sunshine Coast workshop or as private onsite training scoped to your team.
We build training around your business tasks, source material and the output you need. Our public Sunshine Coast workshop gives you four hours to work on one repeated business task.
Key takeaways
- Bring one repeated job, a guest enquiry reply or a property handover note, not a whole system. Your business task determines the training example.
- Five inputs, Context, Task, Source, Rules and Output, describe the job and give you something to check the draft against.
- Your booking notes, property rules and rate information are the source. You check the output against the information your business supplied.
- The public Sunshine Coast workshop runs four hours at A$495 including GST per person, capped at 15 paid attendees.
- Private onsite training is quoted after a scoping conversation about tasks, location and experience.
Which accommodation task should you bring to an AI workshop?
Bring one job your business repeats. We teach business owners and teams how to use AI on the work their business repeats, and your business task determines the training example.
Pick a specific piece of work: a reply to one guest question about parking and check-in, or a handover note for one property after one stay. Bring the information that job needs.
If the job runs through several stages, start with the drafting step. You can build the instructions for that step without connecting every system in your business.
How do you turn a guest enquiry into a reviewable AI draft?
You write five inputs, then test them on a real enquiry. We help you build and test a workflow you can use again.
The five inputs are Context, Task, Source, Rules and Output. Context describes the business, customer and situation, so the assistant knows it is writing for your property and this guest. Task names the job the AI assistant needs to do. Source supplies the notes, documents or approved facts for that job. Rules set the limits and identify missing information to flag. Output describes the format and information the finished draft needs to contain.
Write the five inputs before you paste in the enquiry. They describe the job, and they give you a basis for judging the draft that comes back.
What source material does your property need to supply?
Your own booking notes, property rules, templates and rate information. Source supplies the notes, documents or approved facts for that job, and you check the output against the information your business supplied.
State which question the reply needs to answer. Ask for the facts that resolve it, and cut background the guest did not request. A handover note works the same way: the stay dates, the property, the condition notes and anything the next person has to act on.
Where several people write these replies, we help your team agree on the source material, instructions and review process for that task, so two staff members send the same facts.
How do you check an AI draft before it reaches a guest?
You compare the draft against the source you supplied. Participants test the workflow on a safe example and check the result against their source material.
Compare names, dates, figures and claims with your source. Recalculate totals. Keep supplied prices unchanged, and flag missing information rather than filling the gap. Check that the draft answers the request and stays inside your scope. The person responsible for the work approves the final version.
We use the same approach on client work. We helped automate Radiant Roof Repairs' internal processes using AI, and we used AI to automate SEO, enquiries and admin for Glen House Homoeopathy.
Do you need AI experience before joining a workshop?
No. You build on your own laptop with hands-on help, and you work on a task you already know.
Other providers sort attendees by experience instead. Cornell's hospitality AI workshops are offered at three levels so attendees can pick topics matching their experience 1. At the first level, no prior AI experience is required 2. The next level recommends some familiarity with AI tools 3, and the highest level expects AI fluency, with prerequisites on some workshops 4.

Frequently asked questions
Who is this workshop for?
Business owners and teams who repeat the same writing job. We work with business owners and teams across industries, and for an accommodation business that means the people answering guest enquiries and writing property handovers.
What should you bring to the workshop?
A laptop, a charger and a safe task example. You build on your own laptop with hands-on help, so bring the machine you will use afterwards, along with the notes, templates and rules that task needs.
What does the A$495 ticket include?
A$495 including GST per person covers four hours in person on the Sunshine Coast, hands-on help and the written AI workflow you build.
When is the next workshop?
The date is to be announced. The exact venue is confirmed with the date, and the current enquiry step is the waitlist.

How many people attend the public workshop?
A maximum of 15 paid attendees. The cap keeps hands-on help available while you build.
Is this an online AI course?
No. The public workshop runs in person on the Sunshine Coast, and private training takes place at the team's workplace. Online hospitality courses teach terminology, meanings and applications across Front Office, Customer Experience, Food & Beverage, Cost Optimisation, Sales & Marketing and Sustainability 5, while we work on one task from your business.
How is this different from free AI tutorials?
You work on your own task with your own material. Participants test the workflow on a safe example and check the result against their source material, with hands-on help in the room.
Can you arrange private training for your accommodation team?
Yes. Private onsite AI training is available on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Noosa, Moreton Bay, Logan, Redlands, Toowoomba and Gympie. Private sessions are scoped for roughly 4 to 20 people, and larger teams can be split across sessions.
What will you have at the end of the session?
A workflow for one repeated task. We help you build and test a workflow you can use again, and you keep the instructions and the example you tested during the session.
Who runs the training?
We do. In our own business, Searchmaxxed, we built AI workflows for creating blog posts, doing SEO and preparing custom proposals, and we teach the same method here. Cornell's AI workshops are hosted by Cornell faculty and cover AI topics that apply across industries 11.
